Is this game bad? Despite this being 2K & Visual Concepts' first ever WWE game without Yuke's? Absolutely! There are some good features like the Showcase & MyCareer to name a couple of things, the Originals do look promising too. But there's a lot of fixing that this game desperately needs right now.
But I personally believe that those who were just creating the game did not intend to create such a buggy, glitchy, broken mess of a game. The fault here, lies onto the higher-ups and investors, giving the staff below them such harsh deadlines, and some of the backlash this game's got, is justified, considering what WWE 2K20 has right now.
Examples include, very blurry models during entrances, music crashing itself whilst playing another theme, poor hit detection, bad hair physics and tricky controls to name a few things.
Yes, I'm keeping my copy, I do somewhat enjoy it, but, all these glitches & bugs have got to go! If you too own this, and you enjoy it, more power to you, that's fine.
Hopefully, WWE 2K20 will be fixed up ASAP, and with WWE 2K21, they can learn from this unfortunate disaster, and bounce back much stronger next year.
Again, the fault for how WWE 2K20 is right now, lies onto the higher-ups and investors, direct your dissatisfaction and anger to them, not the people who are below them who just wanted to make a good game. (Yes, there are exceptions to this, like EA, Activision Blizzard & Bethesda for example). I doubt the people below them intended to make a bad game on purpose and just wanted to make a good game instead, but the deadlines and stuff given to them by the higher-ups & investors (and Yuke's absence) messed up their chances.
Anyway, I give the game a 4.5 out of 10. Just my kind and respectful, professional opinion.
