Trevor Noah's comparison of the Israeli-Hamas conflict to a scrap between himself and his little brother shows his ignorance of the facts, the background and mainly of Hamas.
Hamas has the destruction of the State of Israel as a main tenet of its existence. They have been sending rockets into Israeli civilian areas in all the provocations they start. They purposely have their headquarters and residences in civilian areas like schools and hospitals. They seem to care little of the death of their people. They were against the 2 state solution that gave them almost everything they wanted in the Oslo Accords. Hamas wants power and has shown that they do not care about the lives of the people in Gaza.
