Weirdly good and bad film. I was left wanting to see it remade with a European scriptwriter and director. Some bits were really great. The 70mph in car fight was excellent. With better scripting and more slick and emotionally mature directing, i.e. more "Abre Los Ojos" than "Vanilla Sky,' more 'Nikita' than 'The Assassin' this could be an amazing film. As it is, it is just good, with less good bits and flashes of brilliance.

Awesome, true to the book and expansive.
