Truly terrible film. I was so excited for a film set in Toronto with an endearing Chinese Canadian lead. Instead, this movie is degenerate propaganda. It encourages sneaking out, lying, being unsupervised at 13, trusting your fellow 13 yr old friends over your parents who love and care about you and etc. There is a scene where the 13 yr old lead twerks in her mothers face and then the mother is painted as the bad guy for disliking it. The mom is rightfully upset that her daughter lies many times, deceives and sneaks out to a concert on her own, but the mom is supposedly the bad guy because the 13 yr old is "growing up". They even sneak in a "my body my choice" reference, because in order to normalize abortion you have to start the indoctrination young. So watch this if you want your children to be sexualized young and encourage disrespect and disobedience against loving parents. Oh and the daughter never learns any lesson. The mom instead apologizes and gives the daughter the freedom she wants. The writers are (maybe by accident) a bit pervy and want to normalize 13 year olds being sexually awakened and have them keep referring to themselves as "women". Just part of the pedophile agenda. I could go on. Evil film
