Produced by Michael Moore, but really a project of Jeff Gibbs. An environmentalist (the film maker) finds he is confronted with information that doesn't fit the public messaging on green energy, etc. Like any documentary, it's going to waste time with idle footage and music, plus show us some ignorant people. I don't think anyone should base their opinions on any documentary, but it seems this one could raise some questions in viewers and get them to research the subject themselves. Censoring it is uncalled for, and really says more about the people wanting to silence what could be valid criticisms of the green energy investments.
The important take away for viewers should be to stop drinking the kool-aid. Everyone, from business to causes, wants to sell you the idea that they will help. Never assume they are angels. They are more likely angles, of leveraging our wish for beautiful and rapid solutions, towards their income and profits. Question everything and everyone. Ask for proof of their claims in demonstrated actual results. Don't accept an answer that is really marketing information.
