Went to watch this movie with high hopes . But to my dismay Manju Warrier has not done justice to the character. Casting (including the servants) is good . Director has been able to portray the olden days lives to a good extent . It would surely take you down the memory lane. Manju Warrier's adaption of Madhavikutty's slang didn't work out at all ... She tried to fake the writer's natural loud laughter ,which again was too fake. Her makeup was too cakey and bad adding up to the unreal feel . Bharat Gopi , Sridevi Unni has performed well . Sridevi Unni has done full justice to her character . Even Balamani Amma (both young and old) have done justice. KPAC Lalitha has always proved her talent . Though a small role she has played it with ease. The movie could have been better atleast at certain places. Its a one time watch movie.
