I saw a lot of stephen king movie adaptations. I always wondered why he has a lot of his books turned into movies. Salem's Lot is the first SK novel I ever read, and after finishing it, I now understand why.
The Petrie boy is my fav character.
Starts slow, with action minutely thrown in.
But once the gritty part sets in, I was totally drawn into the story.
