Within the first two minutes of playing I experienced a glitch; (NOT a good look for a brand new Pokémon game) The glitch essentially black screens your game as soon as you interact with the plant on the staircase when you are going downstairs from your room, and on top of that, the game performance is embarrassing to say the least. I mean, they literally copy pasted the same shop (that you can’t interact with) 3 times all right next to each other. And you’ll see that same shop many many more times than just that. It feels like a very rushed project and to charge $80 is outrageous. In my opinion, I can’t even justify spending more than $40 on an unfinished game like this. With sword and shield and legend arceus (which I really loved) being the last few examples of the direction they are working towards, I feel violet and Scarlett took this 10 steps back, and in this games current condition, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to play it. If you want the real Pokémon experience, just stick to legend arceus, and save yourself the $60-$80 that they’re trying to charge for this game.
