This movie was odd. As a parent of a child who passed this past year, I wasn’t expecting to be deeply affected by the story line-spoiler alert, You can’t wish a child back to life. Yeah, it’s dark. I was also deeply affected by the costumes. Find levity where you can I suppose? Whoever the designer was, equally missed the mark. How about we dress the fuller figured lead in actual clothing that fits? Poor kid. The take away- Ben stiller as Satan , And the lead underdogs love interest were the best part. Jack black was as ussh was fine, and the part of the best friend’s teeth, were overacted. Not a fan. Bummer all around
