The movie adaptation of this novel ( Red White and Royal Blue) was something I was utterly disappointed with as it felt very hurried and the character's felt immensely superficial compared to the novel. I fully understand there is no perfect ground but there are so many mistakes that made it difficult to watch. Multiple characters are ommited and intergral scenes were thrown out the window which in some sense builds the plot but without them the movie feels choppy in parts. The dialogue felt forced and though it was rated R, half the intimate scenes were not in it for example that the kissed and so on in the bathroom when the went to the "Karaoke". Though they weere ommited, the few felt very sensual. (However the second bedroom scene makes Prince Henry look like a fish out of water.) I strongey believe that this should have stayed in the drafts and maybe they should have taken a page out of Heartstopper's book first. But that is just my oppinion. Would not reccommend the movie adaptation, however novel is MAGNIFICENT.
