This the most Fantastic (pun intended) of all Fantastic Four movies! In this case, however, the protagonists do not emerge as the new Marvel superhero team to follow but rather... no, is not the Silver Surfer as it appears that casting the role for a female actress only succeded in yielding the role of a dullard with no real significance. No, the emergent star of this film is none other than this greatests of all villans of all times (even though Galactus is neither Good nor Evil, he simply is). The introduction of Mighty Galactus to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has reinvigorated the audience's desire for far more appearances from Mighty Galactus. I overheard during the end credits someone say "Wouldn't it be great if Galactus could attack the home of Odin & Thor, Asgard?, I mean a planet or a realm that could actually defend itself against him?" the replied heard was "That would be awesome!" To which I added my comment which was "I now want to see Mighty Galactus vs Mephisto, where Mephisto steals the souls of both of his heralds and Galactus retrieves what is rightfully his" in response to my comment the people around started cheering and clapping. Two movies will emerge from here is my prediction; 1) will be discovering the origin and significance of the Devourer of Worlds and 2) will explore the relationship and significance of Galactus and Franklin Richards. May the both Rest in Peace, Stan Lee & Jack Kirby. Excelsior!
