Chantal Biech

I grew up around hockey players and I fully understood the culture the author was depicting. Towns that cultivate this overwhelming self-importance and entitlement in the boys who play hockey and to the team which the town revolves around. I lived in one such town in Canada. The truth about the different experiences of the boy vs. girl, was again very typical of what I've witnessed, and I hope it is thought provoking for all who read it. I was gripped by this book, but I am a biased Fredrik Bachman fan
