I think it was unessasarily violent. I think the message was more 'personal vendetta "and war focused. It was beautifully produced, as was the first movie, but too much pandering to an audience that eats that stuff up. Kind of disappointed. The movie pulls on the heartstrings from loss through trauma, principle,and senseless slaughter.
The story is- Family bonds, sanctuary, old score, betrayal,the worst of military damage, poaching, imaginary beauty torched, 3x violence, death, more violence. Good vs Evil?
What in the heck does anyone walk away with here?
