Visually appealing. But that's about all it's got going for it. Crams in way too much without sufficient background. There's still characters I don't know exactly who they were. Mostly drama with very poorly interjected one liner comedy that was just a weird combo.

Fairly interesting first 30min that then goes horribly, sadly, comically, wrong. Those that find it "campy" are just being generous to the rep James Wan has. This is a miss pure and simple.

Walked out. This was so stupidly bad. It missed witty action movie by a mile and lands somewhere between campy and sad.

This gets two stars only because the idea was good. But even for a horror movie this is bad writing, acting, and effects. And it's barely a horror movie, with just a few jump scares. I felt like this was secretly supported by the Catholic Church to try and sermonize to the heathen that would dare watch a religious themed horror movie on Easter weekend. Not only does good win over evil, but it's in a preachy, Hallmark way.
