Had never played a From Software game before and thought I'd give it a go. It's not an enjoyable nor a particular good RPG. There's little to no story and the writing is abysmally poor. You can't track quests which I suppose is designed to be challenging, but the result is the whole thing feels disjointed and unsatisfying. The game actually feels like it's designed to irritate and inconvenience players in parts. While it will appeal to hard-core fans, it's for this reason it isn't as commercially successful as some other titles. For the effort to get there the endings are pathetically unsatisfying too. The game doesn't reward the effort you put in. You can be at god tier level and still get one shotted by some bosses and most enemies will kill you in 3 hits. Won't be rushing out to play another game from this developer.
