Honestly, this trope has been done before, but I love this spin! I started watching this movie thinking it would just be another mediocre Netflix horror movie...I was wrong! I highly recommend this film! Do not pay attention to the Rotten Tomatoes review

I am going to be honest...I actually enjoyed this movie and I'm a bit upset they did not greenlight a sequel. The story is really good, and it feels more like the comics. It did however, feel a bit rushed in the plot. Don't get me wrong, it is a good movie but that last act with Queen Nimue....could have been written a lot better, hence four stars

Tom Hanks rarely disappoints, and this film pulls you in with its story of Otto, a man grief stricken over his wife who passed months ago. What starts off as a film with a grumpy, grieving old man only gets better as you can understand why he is the way he is. He eventually finds happiness with the help of new neighbors who just moved in. I thought the supporting cast did just as well. It comes off as a very humane and heartfelt movie. Five stars. Highly recommend!
