It's everything I ever wanted and more. You could say it's less impacting than the original book as the original book is such a gigantic injustice, it is memorable for how tragic it is, it is memorable for how you wish the story hadn't been that way, and this movie instead is somewhat comfortable and fixes many of the aspects that made the reader feel their heart twist in the book. nonetheless, anyone who read the original book and wished for a less tragic end will love this movie.
