Way to waist such a great cast. I was expecting way better. Basically an interracial couple struggle with their parents cultural differences, but instead of all trying to make it work or even the two families trying to have their way, you have the white Jewish family trying to please the black Muslim family too damn hard, that just acts like their too good for white folks. Even in the relationship of Ezra and Amira, it’s Ezra trying to please his father in law and suck it up with his attitude and Amira wining about her mother in law trying too hard. And what is it with David Duchovny character? Poorly used and when he appears, looks like he has a fixation on X-Zibit. I sincerely don’t understand where the director was going with this, but damn, how miserable.
