This was advertised as satirical comedy..Unfortunately it is only half right. Great production design. Must have cost a bit of money to make this. Maybe they should have spent more money onscript writer that has an absurdist sense of humour. (See Dr. Strangelove ) Kate and co. do a great job with what they have to work with but ultimately let's you down with no real sense of why you watched it in the first place. This isn't a terrible show,. It just just seems empty and pointless. Sorry, Kate Winslet, but not one of her best ,but always worth watching just because she's in it.( except The dress maker. That really is just awful garbage)

I will never understand the mind of anyone that can watch a film this awful and find some kind of truth or hidden meaning in it enough to give it 5 stars. Just because a film has people involved in it that have made good ones in the past doesn't mean everything they do is going to work. There were moments in this that Oscar looked like he just wanted to go home and find something else to do. Which was how i felt watching it.! I expected so much more from this butmy disappointment grew with every tedious minute that clicked by. A waste of time,money and talent.
