Overall this was a great series to watch.
Very captivating story line but there were some few things that shouldn't have happened like the death of Jack and Alex.
Like why? Alex travelled all the way from England facing all those challenges but rather chooses to die instead of being amputated?
This show built her character to be someone who was resilient and ready to face whatever life throws at her head on.
But as to why she would rather choose to die rather than getting amputated was a poor writing skills from the story writers.. she should have lived as an amputee.
She had a choice, why should you make her choose death?
If you wanted her to die, then she shouldn't have been saved from the snow at all.
And Jack shouldn't have just died like that. He was young and stupid but death was a cruel lesson for him..
He could have gotten wounded just to teach him a lesson but death?
Too much..
And the 2 strangers that helped Alexander? When it was getting colder, couldn't they have had the sense to get back?
I think it's common sense. When the husband gave the wife his hand gloves should have been when they had the sense to turn back.
The showed portrayed the husband to be someone who is intelligent so I think he should have convinced his wife that they get back, at least, I think the fuel remaining could have taken them farther away from the very cold snow and could have gotten to the fuel station to refill and get back home so they could try the journey another day. And Alex would still probably be alive.
3 people just died for no reason...
