This was an airport buy. Being called wise by Bernardine Evaristo I thought it must be good and worth the buy.
Unfortunately the author does not appear skilled enough to carry a long form book yet. The characters are shallow, flat and the language seems gratuitous and unimaginative. A very interesting topic explored in what feels like a chick flick. Quite a shame. Really wanted to like it but had to force myself reading it.
