This was everything I wanted it to be. Aquaman has been my #1 favorite superhero since I started reading comics. I've delved into Dark Horse, Marvel, Image, DC, Top Cow, among others. Out of everything I've read, New 52's and Rebirth's Aquaman has been my favorite ever. I went into this movie with high expectations. I love Aquaman and Mera so much, I was confident I'd be left content, but not happy. I was wrong. I left ELATED. My every wish was granted. They used New 52's classic "Throne of Atlantis" story line. A wild ride of intrigue and high stakes. One of the DC Universe's best overarching storylines, in my opinion. And they did it beautifully. Go watch this movie. It. Is. Amazing.
