*Yawn* Please don't let the hype About the great twist ending rope you in- this book has an ending you can see coming a mile away. This felt like an edgy teenager trying to shock you with gore and the taboo idea of eating human flesh. Maybe this didn't hit for me because I am already a vegetarian and already made my mind up about how I feel about the animals dying in order for me to have dinner, idk. This has a strong concept but awful execution and no plot. I am a fan of horror, even visceral horror, but this was so heavy handed I found myself rolling my eyes all over the place. I stuck it out to get to the ending which was not worth it, and to top it l off, it was boring.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow

This was so fun; I never read the book this was based off of so I went into this blind and really liked it. Some of the pacing was slow, I wish the background characters got more fleshed out, and the fake FleetWood Mac Music was a little corny but overall this was like a TV show version of Behind the music; honestly, it had everything the drugs, the betrayal, the affairs, the lies, the telling of personal secrets to Rolling Stone, soulmates, fur coats, mustaches, everything.
