Definitely worth listening to. Some of the tracks are very hypnotic and his voice has aged and mellowed so nicely. I've always loved it from back in the day on Final Cut and then his first two solo albums - Pros and Cons and Radio Kaos.
I get what people say about the new spoken 'vocals' but like always he has something to say and the bottom line is he can do what he wants with his material. Fans do not own it and the over the top 'outrage' from some reviews is a bit much.
If you are fixated on Dave's soaring guitar and vocals and can't get past a different way of telling Roger's original story then you'll have problems with this album - I'm just so pleased Roger wrote these lyrics back in the seventies and is still going strong :)
