The hypnosis ruined it for me. Theoretically, a person cannot be hypnotized against their will. I know it's a horror movie, and you have to suspend your disbelief to a certain extent, but the forced hypnosis bothered me, and it was the one disbelief that I couldn't move on from. If it had been something other than hypnosis, like just being drugged, it would have been five stars. Outside of that, the movie was amazing, which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 3.
