Seriously, people give this movie a bad rap because of the casting changes, and not having anything Egyptian in it (so, Johnathan's bar of Egyptian references in the film doesn't count, I guess). Plus, if we had another Mummy film for this trilogy that is JUST LIKE THE FIRST TWO, we would have had a repetitive fan service movie at this point. The first two films are the best, but the third film is pretty underrated, and still to this day after 10+ years. It has the fun, action, and humor that this franchise had for so long. My only issue with the film is the editing. It's such a darn shame that we never gotten The Mummy: Rise of the Aztec. Would have been an improvement to this one, over remaking it (again) with the Tom Cruise Mummy movie...
