The reason people get so upset about all the woke stuff is because it almost always correlates with bad writing. I personally have no issue with themes like sexism and inequality being explored in TV - but it seems that whenever this is the priority, the story goes out the window. This is no exception. The characters don't have a lot of character and the plot only makes sense if you have lost the plot. It looks good, and the fight scenes are really well done. It is a cool idea to explore a time when the force was even more mystical, a lot could have been done with that, but the story just resorts to a series of mystery boxes in a vain attempt to hold your interest. For anybody with half a brain, it just won't work. It's almost like it was written by AI which wouldn't even surprise me!
