The acting is horrible, especially King Triton. In the cartoon, when king Triton yelled at Ariel you felt that! You knew he was MAD!!!! But, in the live action he was calm. He sounded more "disappointed" than angry. Horrible.
I also hated how much the live action strayed from the cartoon. I could only watch half of the movie before I lost interest.
