I would pay $100 to get the time back I wasted. I’m such a busy person and my wife/kids don’t like scary movies so I was late to party on this one. So I eagerly anticipated this one and watched it in the day time so I would not fall asleep. What a fucking waste. The plot missed the bus and just took too long to fully develop and when it did, it was so weak. Gullible and super friendly character takes in her troubled friend and just lets her walk all over her. No true dive into the back story of any of the spirits that appear. The story revolves around a supernatural hand that connects you to the spirit world. The kids take turns holding the hand and meet spirits and also get a drug like high. Things get out of control and then a watered down spooky version of a jumangi script develops. Yuck. I’m so mad I wasted my time. Decent acting but the story was half baked to say the least.
