Apparently American audiences are so hungry for motion pictures about the last war where they weren't obviously the bad guys, that there need to be a constant stream of made-up stories casting Americans as the architects of victory against axis evil, like U-110 etc.
Maybe if they attempted to be on the right side of history now they'd have something to fill cinemas with in future. I won't hold my breath. In 10 years, Hollywood will still be offering up fictitious history and whitewashing the rest.
Given that, it's hard to care what these made up heroes in this very real conflict do or don't do. All feels like stolen valour.
