Robert Glenn

This is an epic production of Frank Herbert’s magnum opus. The cast is first rate with excellent performances by Timothy Challamee. Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, and Javier Bardem.

The international cast works together well. Matt Damon plays off Abigail Breslin adding to the emotional and thematic impact of their failed relationship. I view Bill as a tragic character. A man who has failed at life and senses one last chance for redemption. The French actresses playing Maya and Virgie are compelling and add so much to the film. The cinematography is amazing and you get a true sense of both the bright and dark sides of Marseilles. This is an amazing film and demands a second viewing to fully appreciate.

Good solid show but I miss the old cast

I used to watch the old CSI and this show has the potential to rival it. They have done a smart thing by limiting the number of new characters and focusing upon Grissom, Sara, and Hodges. I liked that they showed the grit involved with CSI work and not just the glamour. The water filled trash can scene. Overall, I think this show is much better than NCIS Hawaii or any of the other new CBS shows. Hopefully, they will continue to develop the characters and exonerate the old staff.
