I am SO hooked! Totally blown away. I have had some research interest in the origins of the crack epidemic and the true story behind it; I've watched the theories put forth by the Black Panther history movies and books, as well as the book written by the "disgraced" San Jose Mercury News reporter Gary Webb (Dark Alliance), who was mysteriously killed, But THIS show laces truth and history within a powerful, compelling and addictive story that is raw, real and rooted in reality. (Sometimes a little too raw for me...) Someone did their homework, both with history AND life in Compton and the hood! Comparable to the power of Breaking Bad. I am SO addicted!!!

I enjoyed it for what it was, although the ending left me feeling slightly unfulfilled, as if I were watching the first of a sequel and needed closure. James McAvoy truly showed his acting chops! Have to watch "Glass" now so I can see the end of the story. Definitely a unique approach to a movie trilogy...
