If you like the original games: don't get this. Is was soulless and empty. There's no real story, you can't pick your characters name or gender (you can only be a man lol). No home island, no quests, no pulsar, no fish interactions, no way to choose where you dive and no Dolphin training. It's just a shell of a game. Your "friend" is an AI named Sera, and the story chapters are about as detailed as a 3 year Olds story telling. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for this game. The only thing you do is swim around a map and use a terribly designed scanner tool to look at fish- which aren't even accurately placed. There's been issues with fresh water fish being in saltwater areas. I feel like this game was either unfinished, or was developed by ai. It is the worst game I've played in years. I imagine if Nintendo keeps up with this kind of game making I'll be looking for games from a different company.
