Pretty much everything about the show (as of the first two episodes) is awful. The acting is atrocious, as is the direction. We spend a long time watching characters look at things with blank / smiley expressions, as if Filoni is trying and failing miserably to make them seem wise. (Maybe he took inspiration from the Mona Lisa?) The pacing is unbearably slow, filled with useless, seemingly pretentious pauses. The characters are not likeable, with the possible exception of Ahsoka who doesn't say or do much. The dialogue is primitive, bordering on juvenile. The plot is simplistic and hackneyed, and not compelling at all. The score is much more dramatic than the scenes it's backing. The most interesting character, played by the best actor, was demonized and probably won't be back.
