I have watched this movie several times. It is amazing how many people are killed fighting the Nazis and saving the paintings that were part of the French culture. Burt Lancaster is strong but he is leading lots of people who die accomplishing their goal of retaining what is rightfully theirs; the timeless paintings. I’m certain that this will not be my last viewing! A marvelous masterpiece!!

This is a completely impossible to understand movie; very much like all of the movies adapted from LeCarre novels. There is no delineation of characters, just senseless killing and dramatic music. Now they have endless profanity to supposed draw the so-called modern viewers. It was horrible!

This is another movie about corrupt and misguided people pretending that their lives have meaning. The fraudulent rich dude comes home to his birthday party and blathers on about how important his family is to him and then leaves home telling his wife that he’s going to go to work and then rushes off to screw his mistress who is about his Daughter’s age. I guess you’re supposed to feel sorry for this rich dude but all he warrants is either contempt, disgust, or pity. This is what our world of high finances has devolved into?? Pathetic! Whatever “tragedy” envelopes this bum he seems to deserve. I’m going to go watch something a little more edifying or helpful.

This is a great movie. It gets a little, over the top, Bloody and gory but overall it a lot of fun. I have watched it several times and something new keeps popping up. I finally asked myself, “What is in the darn valise?” I then read a lot of opinions but none made sense to me. “The director’s or head villain’s soul”??? I’m going to watch it again.

This is a very inspiring and insightful movie. I’m a Roman Catholic so I loved seeing the Vatican and Rome. The bravery of the Resistance fighters and how all of these people risk their lives to save others was inspiring. After watching it I bought the book and look forward to seeing how they complement one another. I was really stirred by the movie and will surely watch it again. It is a marvelous experience; I encourage everyone to watch it!

There are so many scenes that I love in this movie. When the German ambassador calls on the British ambassador and recommends that England surrender he is told in no uncertain terms to “stuff it”! He tells his wife that he almost lost his temper! The aerial fights are great and the action held my attention. I have watched this movie several times and find that I still pick up new pointers. Enjoy your viewing!

Just plain horrible! I’m glad that James has enough dough; he will never have an acting career. He needs to retire and move to China! A putrid movie that is unwatchable.

This is a horrible rendition of the murder mystery. The actor playing Poirot is wretched and his mustaches are laughable. There is no reason to watch this travesty when Suchet does an admirable job in his numerous superb episodes. The other rendition, made in the 1970s, is hundreds of times better. I suffered through this wasted effort once but would recommend others to spend their time better. It is hard to imagine how it could have been done worse?

The book is 1,000 times better than this movie. I kept hoping it would pull out of the way it was going but it just got worse!! It just never pulled out of it’s mess. The book was very good; this is terrible.

This is one of the most disgusting, vicious, evil, cynical, and despicable shows I have ever watched. There is absolutely nothing redeeming or even interesting. It is evil on steroids. I couldn’t believe it when Al Pacino said: As the Talmud teaches; living is the best revenge. As anyone who has studied anything of our great religions this does not come from the Talmud; a truly holy gift of God. This is another Amazon creation which I think is going to try to outdo that other destroyer of our priceless religious heritage: Disney! Disney and Amazon= PERVERTS. Amazon loves the “f-bomb” and loves to mock and ridicule true right living. DO NOT WATCH THIS TRASH!!
