I've been playing Armored Core games for over 20 years, so it's with a heavy heart that I slate this game. Technically there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and if you're a fan of Fromsoft's one trick pony of crushing difficulty, then you may enjoy it. However, I'm not that type of gamer, and for twenty odd years Armored Core has not been that type of game. Not a fan of being punished for spending sixty quid on a game and having the audacity to expect to enjoy myself. If you're a fan of Soulslike games go for it, if you're looking to scratch that 10 year AC itch I'd recommend avoiding. It's Armored Core in name only. 100% not for me. 1.5 out of 10.
