I love the original anime. Always have and always will. However this live action remake is really entertaining. I've watched the whole thing and it's made me smile no end of times. It doesn't take itself too seriously and makes for a good watch. Too many people expecting it to be the original. I see it as something new that will entice more people to genre hopefully.
