Call of Duty:Scam Ops 6 is the lowest point this series has ever reached.
I wanted to throw this right here at the top to make sure it's noticed immediately cause it's one of the biggest reasons to turn down this game: THEY USE AI TO MAKE ASSETS NOT JUST TO USE BUT SELL THEM IN THE STORE. Activision and Treyarch are currently using AI generated assets and selling them in store bundles. Multiple calling cards and emblems, and most notably are loading screens that they sell along with other bundles have been easily recreated with art generators.
The game for the average player might not seem like there's anything wrong with it but veterans of the series can tell immediately that everything with this game is fundamentally flawed, from the gunplay to the maps themselves.
The core gunplay and movement would actually feel good if it were not for the constant packets bursts making you feel as though you were lagging, but your not.
Almost if not all the new maps are absolutely awful, from design to feel. The atmospheres are boring and bland, but that's nothing to compare for how bad they play. There's always too many lines of sight to cover, constantly leaving you picking one or two while leaving you open to several more. And finally, despite claiming to have 3 lane maps returning, almost none of them classify as such. Spawns will deliberately put you into lines of sight .2 sec away from being shot, and then do it several more times.
Zombie...oh zombies. They massacre my boy each and every year. I won't even say much cause it's the "annual dead corpse beating". The mode itself isn't bad, but just like the entire game itself...it lacks passion and soul. Both Liberty and Terminus both play okay and it's nice to relax for a bit but they have no draw to them. Citadelle was a fair attempt at DLC 1 but still isn't there. DLC 2...we all know it was a rushed mess. Enough said.
Warzone isn't worth mentioning.
