It's painfully obvious that it was hashed together from multiple ideas. Things seemed to happen for no good reason. Painfully stupid characters ("I'm trapped in a small space, I'll shoot this hatch open instead of the velociraptor trying to eat me!"). And even dumber action sequences, including:
-onlookers casually watching a fight while they know the giant dinosaur escaped their cage behind them
- a dinosaur following a lady crawling until she goes underwater, roars at her while she is underwater, and then goes away for some reason.
- a velociraptor like dinosaur suddenly decides to jump under a frozen lake and swim under the ice to try to eat someone
- No one in this movie knew how to use a firearm, probably to justify the idea that dinosaurs somehow managed to take over the entire planet from a small sample size, with different climate and ecosystem then they lived in before
This movie tried to seem like it's about dinosaurs all over the world but focused on basically another park... With even less focus there and more so on locusts and corporate espionage. Maybe the real killer dinosaur is the capitalism we witnessed along the way?
