I have no idea on the plot, the characters, anything. I read the first 3 pages having forced myself to continue after the first page and a bit. Who writes a book with no speech marks? I don't know how anyone managed to follow this book. You're halfway or even all the way through a sentence before you realise the character is speaking. My first thought was maybe it was a proofreading error when the first character spoke, then they were missing for the next one and a quick flick through found none the entire way through the book. Hats off to anyone who managed it but not for me thanks. It was very off-putting and I would have been concentrating more on who was speaking or thinking than the story. Moral of the story, don't buy a book in haste, always read the first page of the book before buying.
