I’ve never ever seen something so unbelievable. A disaster series that just kept going on and on. Series that was totally unnecessary. A 90 movie would’ve wasted less time. As many times as that girl ran off for this “intense 2 day lesbian relationship” where she couldn’t imagine life with that girl as the risk of her and her families lives is absurd. Then for it to be dubbed a disaster movie but the whole lay family survives but the woman who actually predicted the disaster loses her entire family. I really have to stop giving these movies the benefit of the doubt and seek reviews first to avoid this mess. A 2.2 rating would’ve told me everything I needed to know.

Why even have anything about the racism if the focus was on him cheating? Racism is not a back drop.

I agree that it was very drawn out. There was no need for a 2 hour movie. The shock factor of the plot twist was lack luster.

It doesn’t line up with the first film. There’s too much extra stuff going on. The only matching part is the name and the ambassador.

Just a whole mess of a movie. Especially the two women who were supposed to be the villains because I mean, What??? Their acting was terrible. The best they could come up with is anti-environmentalists for the bad guys. That part could’ve been left out because it just added too much extra. The whole movie was all over the place. Air breathing dinosaurs that have lived under the water in the trench for 65 million years? Oh and yeah a giant octopus too. Also can someone explain to me what is the meaning with the eye rolling of the sharks? Is it in a trance or something? It was disappointing to watch because Jason is so much better than this kerfunkle (lol) of a movie.

What was the point of the movie besides a waste of time? I mean what was it about? I can’t believe Forrest Whitaker was actually in this movie. It’s like an episode of Seinfeld, a story about nothing.

This is a piece of poorly made, no relation to the first movie in terms of movie or creature quality. Uggh!!!!!!! Cheap rip off. Just why did they even do this? I just can’t with these terrible movies these days. Such a waste of time. The background alone was awful right away
