Felt like a good old fashioned horror movie relying on a riveting story and mystery rather than gore and constant jump scares. It had shades of The Omen and The Davinci Code which gave it some flare. The story was gripping with tense moments and a scene right out of a nightmare. Glad I took a chance on it. One of the better ones in the conjuring universe.
