Going through the review bombs on IMDB and other sites, the common theme you are most likely to see is "woke", "LGBT", "race/gender swapping". I beleive if that's what you're most focused on rather than the show itself, you're likely to miss out on the fact that the show was a pretty decent adaptation. I especially loved episode 4 and have very few to no complaints about the show. (I imagine people wouldn't have hated it as much if it were all heterosexual white characters and to that i say, grow up dude)
