If you thought the marvel Thor movies were too cartoonish, to the point of making a joke of Norse mythology; and that The Thirteenth Warrior gave a much better depiction of the Norse; then this film is for you. It's about as authentic and historically accurate as one could hope for; considering the relative paucity of source material on Viking culture. Ok so it's Hamlet for norse-geeks/pre-christian Europe geeks. Listen - every single Varg-tard creamed their pants for this film (myself included). It was Hamlet, but it was very much OUR Hamlet.
