Feels like Karin Slaughter sold her soul, or rather, those of her protagonists. Will Trent, a wonderfully complicated character has been flattened out into a one dimensional, bland and boring detective. Ridiculous whitewashing by corporate Disney has simply sucked all the life of some of the best crime thrillers.
