-Acting seemed forced/trying too hard
-Why have dumb male actors?
-Great movie for younger crowd, but adults will be disappointed
-Should have intertwined original cast
-I couldn't stand the witches singing on stage, or in the pharmacy (they could’ve done a better job)
-When they showed someone watching part of a clip from the original movie… why?
-How does this young girl have powers all of a sudden?
-Where were the witches parents when they were younger?
-The mother witch decided to giver her book up?
-How does book have feelings all of a sudden?
-Why was the mayor obsessed with getting a caramel apple?
-I like the idea of how the sisters disappeared in the end, but it could’ve been a bit stronger
There are so many questions and awkward cringy moments where I rolled my eyes.
I think this movie was overhyped up. I think parents assumed that it was good for their children to watch, but if you grew up watching the original movie, you would not like this one. It doesn’t do it justice. Im honestly so disappointed and wish they could’ve made this movie more realistic than making it all about the modern time difference, and comedy for younger viewers.
It would’ve been really good if the original cast was brought in to try and get rid of the witches with the new characters. I also think it would’ve been even more exciting if we knew what the witches were like growing up as adult witches in the 1600s (flash backs).
Just a thought ^ I dont know, i’m not a director or writer, but yikes.
