****SPOILER ALERT**** I personally, until the second book, loved it. The first book was amazing!!!!! I loved the plots, the characters, the amount of romance and action. It was great!!!!! Absolutely recommend it. The second one, not so much. I liked how she got picked for the games again, and how she survived but it was all so confusing, it never said anything clearly. I don’t even remember how she got out, it was weird. It was weird, that is all I can say. The third book was good, not as good as the first one but acceptable until the end. The ending was so rushed and sad. I mean come on, Prim dies? All Katniss was ever trying to do was to keep her Prim, her mother, Gale, Rue and Peeta alive. She failed on most of them. Prim, who was the start of all this madness, dies tragically with many other children from the districts in the Capitol. Peeta starts going crazy, doesn’t remember who he loves. At the end of the whole series, her mother is so sad she does not go back to District 12. Gale finds himself a fancy job in District 2. It is sad considering all he has done for Katniss. Would’ve been much better if Katniss stayed with Gale. Peeta is not a bad guy, I just like Gale better. Peeta and Katniss get together and have kids, although she never sees Gale or her mother again in the book. Bad ending, and it is all so rushed. One minute they are fighting and the next there is no one left. Just one last thing. Rue, she was my favorite character. Had such a sad life and it ended so quickly. That’s all I have to say about her, she was amazing. Don’t like how she died. She could’ve died at the end of the series, fighting with Katniss. I would’ve accepted that, someone has to die. Long story short, amazing first book, less-then-ok second book, and bad third book. Thank you, I recommend the first book.
