Thank you for creating this wonderful film which so wonderfully shares with the onlooker that YOUR LIFE HAS MATTERED :) I so enjoyed vicariously experiencing this adventure with you and am so happy you were able to pull things together so well during your mother's lifetime, so that she too, could be rewarded by being able to sit back and view this outstanding work of art exemplifying a life well lived. All too often the world measures a man's success with the wrong tools. Thanks to you, meaning can be seen in simply living. Time well spent in the loving and caring for your mother is something others rarely do. She raised an amazing son! Your apologies were heartfelt and deeply painful to witness. I am very glad that you took this on and although I understand why you felt as though the quest for the gold was a failed expedition, it was just the opposite. The gold that was discovered is the very proof that you are a man who has lived a life with purpose in creating and sharing your many gifts. Tonight I stumbled upon your film from my own "deathbed" so to speak, as I am a hospice patient living alone and did not have children and was predeceased by 2 wives when I was still in my 40's. So much of what you shared in this film tonight was very applicable to my life right now and it was just the "right fit". i want you to know, if for no other purpose than to give me joy in going on the adventure with you tonight, that your life has mattered, your art and poetry is amazing and thought provoking and heart weighting and you have accomplished exactly what you were put on earth to do. You convey the message that each person matters and that everyones' dreams and life goals need not be the same to give a purpose and reason to live. Thank you. Now...I'm off to surf the web admiring your life's work in your other mediums!
