Guys, i fell for the good reviews and watched it. Please accept my plea and absolutely don't waste your time. The combined IQ of all the characters in the movie is 15. I am not kidding. Everyone makes the worst decisions at every turn. Nothing, literally NOTHING, is explained. You think something leads to something.... NOPE IT DOESN'T. It's absolutely riddled with plot holes and logical gaps. Nothing makes sense, absolutely nothing. Life is short. Have fun, spend time with your family or something. Don't watch this dumpster fire.

Awful book turned into an even worse movie. Save your time, don't watch this shitshow

watched a really good suspense movie after so long. I was gnawing at my lip, digging my nails into my palms, curling up into my boyfriend, you name it. i went into it not knowing it had any relation to stephen king at all, but the plot was so glaringly stephen king-esque, guess what, it's based on a story written by his son. The movie got a lot of the things right, like the right amount of childish and wannabe behavior of 12 year olds, not too daring and not too stupid. Just the right balance. The story is heart-wrenching and it always is a resounding slap of a reality check: children are still abducted frequently and face just as bad, if not worse, horrors. It leaves you feeling very helpless and despondent, knowing numerous kids already met a similar fate. Amazing movie! Must watch!!
