THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE but only after watching it more than once! it gets better each time!!!

fantastic sequel! doesn't disappoint and lives up to the original almost perfectly. the soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous!

OH MY GOD!!! REFRESHING AND FUN and an AMAZING SCORE!! people may say ‘blah blah blah pixar is losing it’s touch..’ WHAT!? did you even pay attention!? i was bawling! just because this movie isn’t about the meaning of life doesn’t make it bad! and it’s message can be an allegory for so many things... homophobia, racism, strong friendships and love... it’s so amazing. this is my new comfort movie. i HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic if you haven't already listened to or seen the Prom musical, disappointing if you have (although Meryl Streep is, as always, incredible, Andrew Reynolds fits his character better than I could have imagined, and there are a few genuine tear-jerkers). Also Emma's casual outfits are disgusting. They tried to make her look lesbian, but they went about it all wrong and instead made her look like a fake-quirky Disney Channel teen. So please if you want to enjoy this movie, take the ratings with a grain of salt and listen to the Broadway version after you've watched the movie. The rating would be a little bit higher if these one star reviews were genuine, but all of them that I've seen were written by homophobes who didn't like the message. So trust me, the movie isn't as awful as the ratings have made it out to be, but it also is extremely flawed. Still, touching in it's own way. And yes, the music WILL get stuck in your head, but in a good way.
